Reporting to the Operations Director, you will beprimarily responsible for ensuring that business processes, transactions, and corporate governance follow all relevant regulatory, legal, and internal guidelines.The role is a wide ranging one including reviewing employee work, developing company policies, and responding to policy violations, ensuring all operations are FCA compliant. This role will draw upon draw your knowledge of regulations (especially CASS), uponyour problem-solving skills, and upon your ability to champion best practice in compliance and risk across the business.You possess expert knowledge of compliance principles and practices within the financial sector (especially CASS). You will also have experience managing business controls and regulatory/statutory requirements, experience problem solving and adapting to change,expert knowledge of business and compliance systems and strong communication skills (ability to explain complex compliance information in written and verbal form to compliance and non-compliance audiences).In-depth knowledge of the General Insurance Industry and Regulatory Framework of the FCA will be fundamental to your success.
