Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Complex Needs Practitioner - Substance Misuse. The position will be based in Birmingham. For further information about this position please apply.Job Title: Complex Needs Practitioner - Children & Young peopleHours: Full time / 37 hours per weekSalary: Starting at £23,500Location: Birmingham B5Job Type: PermanentIndustry: Substance MisuseKey Responsibilities

  • Provide advice, screening, brief and comprehensive assessments with individuals & families
  • Hold a case load of young people with Complex Needs.
  • Provide face to face appointments in the community ( schools, family centres, residential homes ) with young people suffering with issues related substance misuse
  • Provide brief and longer-term structured interventions
  • Develop & review care plans with service users
Required Experience
  • Previous employment within a similar role
  • Previous experience working with children / young people
  • Driver and access to own vehicle
