The BDA Membership, Marketing and Communications Team is seeking a motivated and experienced communications professional with a can-do attitude to work with colleagues and volunteers across the BDA to provide a high level of maintenance, development and support of the BDA’s digital presence, with specific reference to developing the effectiveness of the BDA website.Communications Officer Responsibilities:You will be expected to support the delivery of the BDA’s communications and digital strategies, ensuring high quality content is created, audited or repurposed across a range of BDA platforms (including social media, website and e-newsletters) and those of our external contracts, to meet the needs of both the business and our members.Communications Officer Requirements:Candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience working within a communications / membership / marketing environment, and have a strong knowledge of websites, content management systems (CMS) and search engine optimisation (SEO).About the British Dietetic Association (BDA):We are the British Dietetic Association (BDA), the Association of UK dietitians. BDA staff have also won Best Young Association Executive 2017 and were awarded runner up for CEO of the Year 2018.Location: Based in central Birmingham, with national coverage and some flexible home working.Salary: £26,586 - £29,034 per annum (full time 36 hours per week).
