Job Description

Joining a progressive insurer, this role offers real progression for a trading Commercial Underwriter to move into new business, with the commercial and underwriting authority to make an impact.Youll work on a range of innovative commercial and SME products, offering your panel of brokers quality service and competitive options - youll have all the tools of the trade.As Commercial Underwriter you will:

  • Join an entrepreneurial insurance firm, with plans for growth - theyre financially sound and stable; a strong platform.
  • Work with an allocated panel of brokers, understanding the areas they play in and building relationships with the key members of the team to gain trust and opportunities to quote.
  • Work on a range of package/combined and stand alone property and liability risks.
  • Enjoy a fast paced, professional (and social) environment, where success is rewarded and opportunities to progress are available.

  • An ambitious, Birmingham based underwriting professional looking for more opportunity to trade, and an environment where youll be encouraged to do so.
