Job Description

I am currently recruiting for an Commercial Property Manager for a successful and growing property company on the outskirts of Birmingham to oversee the management of a substantial, predominately commercial, property portfolio based throughout England.This is a full time, permanent role with great company benefits including 25 days holiday and free on site parking.Key duties as a Commercial Property Manager will include:

  • Assist with asset management opportunities within the portfolio
  • Carry out on-site inspections
  • Record void inspections / vacant insurance requirements
  • Looking after Health and Safety matters e.g. risk assessments (fire, health & safety, Legionnaires, Gas safety certificate,Landlord 5 year electrical test certification, etc.)
  • Liaise with Contractor / Maintenance management re minor works
  • Maintain ‘List of Works’ schedule both Estates and Operational jobs
  • Service Charge budgeting, apportionment calculations and (year-end) reconciliations.
  • Securing EPCs and maintaining a register
  • To be considered for the role of Commercial Property Manager you will have the following:
  • Knowledge of the following systems would be beneficial: Re-Leased (Estate Management) and Xero (Accounting).
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate well with people at all levels
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent negotiation and time management skills
  • Full, clean driving license with own transport
