Job Description

Collections Advisor - Temp to Perm Contract Location: Trinity Park Birmingham, B37 (Next to Birmingham International Train Station) Hours of work: 40 hours between 8.00am - 6.00pm - Mon - FriSalary: £10.81ph - Permanent salary £22,500 SummaryOur client is looking for an enthusiastic person, looking for a new challenge. Based in their collections department.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Investigation and resolution of bulled and unbilled accounts
  • Monitor customer payments and manage any payment cancellations, payment failures or exceptions.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Identify customers in arrears and have the ability to communicate the collection process, presenting the facts clearly and with confidence whilst negotiating repayment of any debt.
  • Identify potential energy theft and liaise with customers, third parties and local authorities to establish facts.
  • Adhere to energy industry regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements.

  • Previous experience within either a Collections, Credit Control or Billing based role is desirable.
