CNC OperatorTemp to PermMonday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30Friday 08:00 till 12:00£11.50 to £12.50ph depending on experience.Are you an experienced CNC Operator with experience cutting and grinding seeking a long-term opportunity with career progression in central Birmingham We are looking to employ a full-time CNC Operator who already has a good grounding in Engineering.The ideal candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC tool cutting and grinding machines. The company is a well-established, leading manufacturer of precision cutting tools. Experience or knowledge of machinery such as Deckel S11, Wickman OPG,Jones & Shipman 310 or Cincinnati, Jones & shipman 1300 or 1074, CNC Studer S31/S33, CNC tool & cutter grinding machines would be very advantageous.Requirements for the CNC Operator role include:" Manufacture and regrind cutting tools" Monitor product quality throughout the process" To dress and maintain grinding wheels and make machine adjustments and troubleshoot set-up issues" To maintain product specifications and quality by inspection using the correct measuring equipment/devices" Understanding, knowledge, and experience working with raw materialsDaily Responsibilities of a CNC Operator:" Previous machining experience and knowledge of cutting tools is desirable" Have good diligence and ability to maintain a high standard of work" Understand and interpret requirements accurately" An industrious individual with the ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team" Willingness to learn new skills and advance their potential to become an important member of the manufacturing teamBenefits:" Opportunity for overtime" Career progression and skill development opportunities" Health benefit scheme" Annual Service Bonus" Company Pension Plan" 23 days paid holiday per year + Bank holidays (Increasing to a max of 26 days)" Additional Night shift allowanceIf you are interested in this role, please click apply now!
