Job Description

CNC Milling Programmer / Setter£18.00 - £20.00 per hourMonday to Friday Day shiftsBirminghamGi Pro are looking for aCNC Milling, Programmer /Setter to join their team.Duties will involve:

  • To program, set and operate CNC machines such as 3 & 5 axis machines
  • Will be Online and offline programming
  • Working on Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain controlsReading engineering drawings
  • To ensure quality requirement and check and using appropriate
  • carry out preventive maintenance on machines
  • Able to machines such as, Centre Lathe, Turret mill and surface grinder.
Desirable experience :
  • Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain controls experience in a must
  • Need to be able to do online and offline programming.
  • CNC Milling Knowledge
  • Quality Systems experience
  • must be able to use your initiative and make fixtures or jigs to assist in the production of your part, you must also have a sound knowledge of tooling along with feeds and speed
