We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join a dynamic team in birmingham with excellent working hours. As a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to producehigh-quality precision components according to specifications. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the manufacturing of innovative products.CNC Lathe Setter/Operator responsibilities:"Set up CNC lathe machines by selecting the appropriate tools, attachments, and programming specifications."Load raw materials into the lathe machine and secure them properly."Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining operations and requirements."Program CNC lathe machines using G-code or other programming languages."Perform test runs to ensure the accuracy of machine settings and program instructions."Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure the production of parts within specified tolerances."Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications."Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process."Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.CNC Lathe Setter/Operator candidate requirements:"Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Setter role"Experience in Aerospace precision engineering (desirable)"Proficiency in setting up CNC lathe machines with a variety of different sets."Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints."Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques."Solid understanding of machining processes."Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills."Strong organizational and time management abilities."Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Benefits youll receive"Excellent working hours 7am- 3:45pm"Great rate of pay"Pension"Generous Holiday AllowanceFor further information please contact Amy Hunter at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial Hagley Court or click apply today!
