Job Description

CMM Programmer

  • Based near Ashted, Birmingham
  • £32k - £35k + OT available
  • Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Syntech are recruiting for a CMM Programmer for our aerospace client based out near Ashted, Birmingham. Working within a 5 strong inspection team, you will be tasked with programming CMMs (PC-DMIS) and creating FAIRs reports when required. CMM Programmer Duties:
  • Run and program CMMs for inspection of aerospace machined components (PC-DMIS)
  • Ensure inspectors and operators are running their jobs correctly
  • Ensure document control within the QMS system is correct
  • Create and approve FAIRS when required
  • Using hand held tools for inspection of machined components
  • Reading from technical engineering drawings to ensure correct tolerances are met
CMM Programmer Profile:
  • Proven experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS
  • Experience leading a inspection team
  • Work experience inside a tight tolerance manufacturing facility (Aerospace, Automotive etc)
  • Confident reading of engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 accreditation and standards
