Job Description

Class 1 HGV Drivers (Friday and Sundays)We are looking for a large number of Class 1 HGV Drivers (Friday and Sundays) for a well know distributor of automotive parts with a centralised NDC based in Tamworth. Our client is currently looking for day and night drivers to start immediately.Our client works with a modern fleet of well maintained vehicles.NIGHT WORK

  • Delivering to stores
  • A key holder with access to security alarms
  • 2-3 Drops and collections
  • Night out runs available (Scotland/N Ireland)
  • Collections & deliveries to/from suppliers
Work is all year round with permanent or temp to perm positions available for candidates looking to progress within the companyClass 1 HGV Drivers (Friday and Sundays) with a minimum 6 months UK experience accepted NIGHT PAY RATES (17:00-04:00)
  • £30.00/Hr (Sun & Fri)
As Class 1 HGV Drivers (Friday and Sundays) you will need to have:
  • MINIMUM 6 MONTHS UK DRIVING EXPERIENCE
  • No DD, IN, DR, TT99, CD endorsements and no more than 9 points on licence.
  • A flexible approach and good communication skills.
Class 1 HGV Drivers (Friday and Sundays) work will involve:
  • Working for one of the fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work.
  • Mixture of shunting, collections, deliveries, blow outs and container work
  • Days - Shunting/container work/blowouts/depot to depot trunks/collections and deliveries to suppliers)
  • Nights - Delivery to stores/Key holder with security codes/Collections of returns
  • Tail lift work
  • Long term ongoing positions
  • 45-60 hours per week (on-average)
  • Night out runs available on request (Scotland/N Ireland)
  • All routes mapped for ease.
  • Immediate starts available
  • Temp To Perm positions available for the right candidates
