Lead Chemotherapy NurseLocation: The Harborne HospitalHours: 37.5hrs pw Mon-FriSalary: competitive dependent on skills & experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Chemotherapy Nurse to work in a leading organisation in the heart of Birmingham. The Lead Chemotherapy Nurse is responsible for taking the lead for the overall running of the Chemotherapy unit and will be responsiblefor providing clinical direction with strong, visible leadership to all nursing staff, in partnership with allied health professionals and medical staff, acting as a point of contact for advice and expertise on all matters relating to both professional nursingand specific specialty issues.You will lead and drive the delivery of excellent clinical standards within cancer care, driving a culture of patient safety, clinical effectiveness and continuous improvement.Working in line with local and national guidance, you will have the responsibilityensuring all appropriate measures are taken to maintain, promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of patients, employees, visitors and the business.The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital opening in Birmingham in 2023. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will have the deepclinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery including roboticswith the latest Da Vinci XI.
