Job Description

In 2021 alone, they have helped 1000+ people to achieve their personal goals and lead fulfilling lives in their new country.By working with them, you will be supporting refugees and migrants to build a better, brighter future.Purpose of jobTo lead on existing and new career and employability contracts in the West Midlands to ensure delivery and consistency of a high-quality career and employability service in line with funder requirements and to provide planning, leadership and direction forthe team.Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:

  • Project managing Refugee Transition Outcomes Fund (RTOF) and Pathways to Enterprising Futures Fund (PEF) and any new career contracts/projects as the business develops. Project management duties including:
    • Project Planning
    • Project Execution
    • Project Monitoring and control
    • Forecast measure and report the results
    • Project closure
    • Project evaluation
    • To ensure that the project does not fall into business as usual
  • Line management of operational staff on Career Projects
  • Performance management against Key Performance Indicators
  • Complete quality assurance and consistency checks on performance and compliance
  • Evidence gathering and preparing reports for funder
  • First line of contact for funder and to ensure all reporting is completed and sent in a timely manner
  • Complete internal monitoring meetings and provide minutes to line manager
  • To cooperate fully with funder requestsand to allocate time and be available for on the spot visits and audits
  • To work with stakeholders, employers, city councils, local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) to provide opportunities for the beneficiaries on the projects and to develop the service.
