We will offer an automatic interview to all candidates who meet our essential criteria and who identify as from an under-represented race or ethnicity or as deaf, neurodiverse, or living with disability.The roleThe Campaigns Manager will develop and lead campaigns to raise awareness of the benefits of veganism and address key areas such as food, environment, rights of humans and other animals, education and health. Campaigns will be targeted at various audiences including the general public, public sector institutions, corporates, policy makers and influencers. Core elements of the role will be project management, bringing timelines to fruition and achieving key performanceindicators (KPIs). This role will line manage two Campaigns & Policy Officers and have general oversight of all campaigns activity within the team.As Campaigns Manager, you will:- Develop and deliver innovative and effective campaigns across a range of issues that support The Vegan Society strategy- Lead project teams maintaining programme schedules, reporting on project status, monitoring KPIs and providing progress reports for senior management- Work closely with the policy team to ensure that all campaigns have policy in support and help to drive system change- Communicate The Vegan Societys campaigning work including writing for publications, giving presentations and attending events- Work closely with the Communications Team to plan online, social and media coverage in support of our campaigning objectives- Contribute to, and oversee, the development of campaign materials using a variety of media- Support the Head of Campaigns, Policy & Research in addressing strategic objectives through campaign development, contributing creative ideas and updating the CPR strategy- Support the Head of Campaigns, Policy & Research in identifying and developing partnerships with other relevant organisations to participate in similar joint national and international campaignsTo be considered as our Campaigns Manager, you must have:- Experience of successfully leading and facilitating campaigns- A proven ability to formulate strategic plans- Experience of writing copy for magazines, newsletters, websites etc.- The ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues, the Senior Management Team and trustees- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines- The ability to work successfully to targets, delivering objectives and desired outcomes- A thorough understanding of available communication channels and their benefits and drawbacks- An understanding of corporate identity and branding issuesWhat we offer- A fun and supportive team- A solution-focused atmosphere and hard-working environment- Flexible working hours- Employee Assistance Programme and health cash-back scheme- Cycle-to-work scheme- Childcare vouchers scheme- Animal companion compassionate leave- Ethical pension scheme (5-7% employer contribution)- Death in service benefit- 28 days leave + 8 Bank Holidays (25 days annual leave and 3 closure days) Additional information This is full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £33,403.65 - £36,281.18 per annumThe Vegan Society has adopted hybrid working arrangements for many roles. You may be able to work from home on a regular basis where this is agreed with your line manager and where this arrangement continues to meet the requirements of the society.
