  • Buyer position enabling the production for a range of manufactured aluminum windows, aluminum doors, curtain walling and fire rated products
  • Managing the procurement governance process and strategy across the business
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers
  • Build and develop relationships with current suppliers to negotiate the best prices
  • Implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
  • Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets and inventory control programs
  • Coordinate a successful sourcing strategy
  • Introduce key suppliers to company level stakeholders
  • Research new products and services to ensure company goals are achieved
  • Manage and organise "on the day" transport and equipment
The ideal applicant will be a Buyer - Aluminium Windows & Doors experience with:
  • Must have buying experience with a manufacturer
  • Ideally will be from the fenestration / construction industry, however would consider other manufacturing backgrounds
  • Ideally will be familiar with Xero software
  • A working knowledge of finance cost management and risk management
  • Must be confident on the phone
  • Must have the ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Pro-active, hungry, self-motived and enthusiastic individual
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
