Job Description

Title: Business Support Administrator Salary: £24,000Hours:8:30 AM – 5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break. 40 hours per week.Location: Based in South Birmingham. Office-based with occasional remote work.Position Overview:As a Business Support Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations within the customer support department. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties including processing returns, coordinating with couriers, supportingsales, and providing professional assistance to both customers and internal teams. This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  • Process new customer returns and generate RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) forms efficiently.
  • Follow up on existing returns, maintain the Inventory Management System (IMS), and ensure accurate records.
  • Arrange collections and complete invoice paperwork related to returns.
  • Raise LOA (Letter of Authority) and collaborate with courier export teams and customer services.
  • Assist the sales team with general administrative tasks.
  • Process courier tracer and claim forms via email or courier portals.
  • Manage and action courier exception emails, coordinating with relevant support teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide professional and courteous responses to telephone and email inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in customer service or support roles.
  • Strong organisationalskills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing administrative tasks and using relevant software/tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Good Skills in MS Office (Excel and Word)
