Job Description

Full time, Maternity CoverMonday to Friday, 37.5 hours per weekSalary: up to £30,000 per annum + up to 20% bonus opportunity + company carTerritory: Birmingham, Leicester and surrounding areasDo you have experience working in the Out of Home channelLooking for a new challenge with an award winning companyThis exciting opportunity requires candidates with strong commercial acumen, who love a challenge, can work with autonomy, and have experience in the out of home (OOH) channel.This dynamic role will provide you with business development and territory management experience: Working across a broad range of sectors and customers within the OOH channel and from site to regional level, you will need to have a demonstrable track recordof building and nurturing relationships and growing business.The Business Development Managers role is to grow sales value and increase Distribution on their defined territory via both identifying and building commercial relationships with Key Decision Makers across the OOH Channel.What will you be doing

  • Calling upon OOH sites and regional accounts within your territory
    • Out of Home sites include leisure venues, contract caterers, in house canteens, and other sites.
  • Building your customer network by planning and executing localised opportunities
  • Hunting and building regional relationships across contract catering development managers whilst collaboratively working to grow value and volume of the confectionery category (Nestl)
  • Formulating and driving regional activation plans with key customers which would include wholesale activation days, trade events and relevant exhibitions
  • Using data and insight to form a selling story and influence decision makers
  • Taking direction from internal sales and category teams to ensure the Nestl OOH strategy is realised
  • Working closely with Nestl teams to always ensure connectivity and communication
  • Maximising brand awareness and communicating new product opportunities
  • Obtaining additional displays, driving product visibility and availability, and ensuring stock levels are maintained
What are we looking for
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude; the right candidate will succeed in OOH through being tenacious and resilient
  • Previous experience working with customers in OOH/Foodservice Channel
  • Experience in sales and winning new business
  • A full, manual UK or international driving license held for at least 1 year
  • Ability to work legally in the UK
