The successful candidate will hone a variety of skills during their time and training spent at the company. Examplesof these skills include: marketing and networking; surveying and making estimations; bid writing and negotiations, and finally account management.The successful candidate will play an essential role in the function of the company. Responsible for merging business-sales strategy with corporate vision and branding, the hired Business Development Manager will also work independently to re-energize andfound new client relationships. The candidate will also be required to prepare proposals, evidenced through a portfolio of Accreditations and Registrations devised by our clients Quality Manager, to spark and encourage new business.Our client also mentors its employees, and the successful candidate can look forward to further training and support in key areas regarding company values and policy, technical appreciation of the companys services and finally successful marketing, amongstother things.Skills and experience:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A Level or equivalent qualification.
  • Either Two years experience within Business Development or Four years experience within the water industry.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of industry relevant legislation and guidelines; including but not limited to, ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM04-01, Water Regulations will be beneficial.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a variety of levels and roles within a team environment
  • Attentive to detail and an eye for immaculate presentation
  • Awareness of market trends and competitors
