Job Description

ADMINISTRATOR - BIRMINGHAMWHO ARE WEWe are a leading national law firm with multiple offices across the UK (including Birmigham).The firm has an outstanding reputation for the work it does but also for the care of its staff, having won several awards of this nature in recent years.You will be working within the Support Team who support around hundreds of lawyers by competently and professionally completing a wide range of Administration tasks.THE ROLEThe team are looking for a quality and customer focused administrator working within a fast paced office environment. You will need to be able to fulfil the following daily tasks:

  • Downloading and uploading to data sites and all forms of electronic filing including using DMS or Filesite as well as splitting and merging documents.
  • Processing incoming post through scanning, naming, sending on to the recipient and filing electronically and manually
  • Compiling electronic bundles for court and experts
  • Conflict searching and Matter Opening
  • File closing and archiving
  • Additionally, reprographics, courier and outgoing mail experience are also desirable skills as there are times where you will be called upon to help the Hub team on site.
  • The team also cover reception on occasion so good customer facing skills are a must.
On joining the team, you would undertake a variety of work initially working within the Clinical Risk Admin team working within a friendly helpful, fast paced team completing work using our DMS and Collaborate systems as well as processing the post receiveddaily.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCEYou would be expected to demonstrate a majority of following skills/experience during the interview process
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • IT literate with experience of Windows and MS Office
  • Experience of working within an administration function previously
  • Scanning and mail experience
  • Good telephone etiquette.
