Fantastic opportunity to become a Building Consultant for one of the largest insurance companies in the UK. The Building Consultant will be responsible for surveying properties along with investigating the damage/ cause of movement.In return, the Building Consultant will expect a salary of up to £45,000, 26 days paid annual leave, pension contribution, access to thousands of perks and discounts, optional health and wellbeing cover and life assurance at 4 x your annual salary.Role & Responsibilities:* Attend site visits for claimants who have reported signs of subsidence * Investigate the damage, diagnose the cause of subsidence and survery the property * Report on your findings including specific details and feeding back to the Subsidence team so the claim can be settled swiftly Skills & Requirements:* An experienced Surveyor who has Subsidence experience * Ideally chartered or approaching chartered status - ICE, IStructE, RICS, CIOB * Experience in insurance claims along with dealing with investigation and repairs of damaged buildings * Able to work as part of a team to ensure client SLAs are met Given the opportunities for progression with this role, we normally expect a high number of applications.
