Job Description

An exciting and rewarding role has arisen within our Networks Division for an experienced Broker to work within and alongside our Business Partner Team, to assist our Network Members with placements under Our Focus on Growth programme. In addition, thesuccessful candidate will have the opportunity to utilise and develop their relationship management skills, with their own panel of circa 10 Network Brokers.You will bring broking expertise to our team, with responsibility for supporting our Network Member Brokers across the UK with placements. You will link in closely with the WTW Broking Team and with our Insurer Partners, to deliver placement solutions. You will have responsibility for support and development of a small panel of Network Member Brokers within a defined geographical area. You will be their key contact into WTW Networks to provide support and assist them in growing and developing their business.You will also engage with key partner insurers to understand their appetite and to deliver opportunity to them.WTW NetworksWTWs Networks Division was formed in 1999 and has grown to be one of the largest and most progressive networks in the UK and Ireland, with over 80 Network Members, with a strong reputation for professionalism and qualityThe Network offers enhanced access to and trading with Insurer markets, a gateway to the expertise, exclusive products and scale and leverage of the WTW Group, a training academy for Network Members staff, support in areas such as marketing and complianceand focused one-to-one expertise to assist Network Members in defining and achieving their strategic goals. The Network works closely with a defined panel of insurers.The RoleYou will:

  • Work closely with selected Network Members across the UK and with our Insurer Partners to deliver placement solutions.
  • Support Network Members and Insurer Partners in case pipelining, as part of our Focus on Growth Programme aimed at delivering the best client propositions, whilst driving activity and opportunity between our Partner Markets and our Network Members.
  • Work with our Insurer Partners, at an operational level, providing insight, identifying and converting opportunities, and resolving any issues with our Network Members.
  • Work with Network Members to understand their placement strategies, to present opportunity into Network markets and setting out benefits of new solutions as they come to fruition You will be the client relationship director for a panel of Network Membersworking along side a team of other Business Partners.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Network Members businesses - their aims and objectives and their personnel, in order to support the Network Members in accessing appropriate elements of the Willis Towers Watson Networks proposition, at the righttime for their business.
The Requirements
  • Extensive experience and expertise in the broking, programme design and placement.
  • Ability to identify good client solutions and show creative flair in working with Network Members.
  • Strong technical expertise, market knowledge and Insurer relationships.
  • Influencing skills, using informed persuasion to influence at all levels, creating win-win outcomes
  • Good planning, organisational and time management skills, managing multiple Network Member and Insurer Partner relationships
  • Well developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver key messages at all levels, to Network Members and Insurer Partners.
  • Ability to manage and maintain action plans, and demonstrate an ability to show delivery against those plans
  • Ability to analyse business plans, data and situations and provide recommendations and solutions
  • You will be very well supported in a team environment but will need to be able to work independently and to manage your own time effectively and work collaboratively with others.
