Job Description

Brand Marketing Consultant - Flexible Hours/Hybrid/Fully Remote - Part Time 21 hours, 11 month FTC, Salary £40k (pro rata)This is a superb opportunity where you will be responsible for supporting the Brand Manager with brand strategy, brand content, brand investment and overall brand reputation for all audiences and channels using Above the Line Marketing. Helping the BrandManager to own the brand strategy and proposition linking with PR, internal comms for brand proof points, the aim is to deliver and leverage brand reputation and commerciality, as a key pillar of marketing strategy.Key Responsibilities: A delegate for Brand Manager who is responsible for the development and execution of the Group Brand strategic and tactical plans, with a strong input to marketing strategy.Specialist role for managing and leading Brand strategy and plans with support of the Brand ManagerSupport Brand Manager for owning and embedding Brand strategies across the business and stakeholder management up to Senior leadership levelWith the wider brand team, engage a team of brand champions across the Group through regular workshops, training sessions and the management of internal communications to aid engagementWork conjointly with Performance Marketing and Marketing teams from concept stage to creation to ensure marketing materials are representative of the brand, are integrated through the customer journey/channels and are high quality.Act as a brand ambassador and help Brand Executive when required to manage brand approvals on a day-to-day basis on the chosen system within SLAsEnsure all materials are governed and adhere to brand guidelines, including tone of voice and visual identity, to grow brand health and value.Support Brand Manager with media buying and any other above-the-line activity, including sponsorship strategy and implementation.Under direction from Brand Manager, work closely with broader corporate communications, internal comms, PR to deliver and leverage brand reputation and brand strategy to all audiences and channelsHelp the Brand Manager deploy the brand proposition and mutuality messaging, ensuring this is delivered via all other teams and communications inside and outside of marketing.Assisting Brand Manager to measure creative performance, media performance and brand tracking to assess new opportunities to drive the brand.Skills Required: Must have a similar marketing background in brand, product, end to end marketing with ATL marketing experience, flexible on sectorStrong and demonstrable brand experience in brand strategy, brand tracking, brand execution and measurementExperience in media buying/targeting, sponsorship and brand creative development with third partiesExperience working with/alongside PR to maximise brand campaign effectivenessExperience in defining, interpreting and delivering brand tracking - turning this into insight and actionSupporting brand commercial business cases and media modellingExperience of above the line marketing - no radio or tv requiredAction-oriented individual with a desire to lead in Brand marketing and associated marketing strategiesSound business judgement; planning, communication, marketing, and presentation abilitiesStrong stakeholder managementGood organisational skills to be able to multi-task and hit key deadlinesAbility to work with a range of colleagues across the business with the confidence to challenge and be challenged to represent the brandAbility to establish long-term solid partnerships and relationships both internally and externally.Ability to source third-party suppliers, working with Legal and ProcurementGood knowledge and experience of guideline management and communication processesExcellent use of Microsoft Programmes, particularly PowerPoint and ability to learn an approvals systemCustomer focused with a flexible attitude and approachAbility to work as a team member and independently using own initiativeProfessional Marketing Qualifications or marketing degree - desirableSalary Package: Full time Salary would equate to £40,000, part time hours pro rata up to £23,700Flexible hours, flexible working - Hybrid or Fully Remote to suit candidateA great pension scheme - company matched plus 2% (up to 10%).Free onsite car parking available if need beReward and Recognition benefits25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays (rising to 28 days with service anniversaries)Buy extra holiday days or sell holiday you don’t needLife assurance - worth four times your base payFlexible benefits - includes our travel loan/car parking scheme, cycle to work programme plus others
