Job Description

Bespoke & Integration Practice Lead - .Net/D365 - Birmingham The Bespoke Dev & Integration Practice Lead is primarily responsible for leading the efficient and accurate design of end-to-end software solutions, which meet the business, service level, and software architecture needs of the client in a cost-effectivemanner. This will require the Practice Lead to work alongside the Sales team to support presales engagements, presentation, and estimating.An ideal candidate should be a .NET and Integration expert and act as a sounding board and mentor to other staff. They should also maintain an expert level of understanding and knowledge in Client support applications. The role is a hybrid position and will give you the opportunity to come into the office in Birmingham once a week. Key Responsibilities

  • To provide mentoring and personal development coaching to less experienced colleagues. Also, provide technical support and assistance to colleagues and clients
  • To ensure that applications are designed, documented, coded, and tested in such a way that ensures ongoing support and maintenance efforts and costs are reduced
  • To work with colleagues to provide a clear and achievable estimate of timescales involved in meeting all proposed requirements and to monitor progress against estimate, escalating any slippage in a timely manner
  • To collate, document, agree, communicate and seek approval for a design, development, and test model for use by a project team using approved company procedures and standards
  • To model, analyse and test the performance of solutions and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and appropriate IT specialists in order to meet service level objectives
Key Skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft technologies/platforms (.NET, Dynamics 365/SharePoint) and have experience of integrating between these using; traditional on-premise, cloud, and hybrid approach
  • Architect of .NET and Integration solutions
  • Previous experience of being a Development Team/Practice Lead
  • The ability to lead and motivate a successful team
  • A thorough understanding of the need to develop solutions in a cost-effective manner to an agreed timetable
  • Experience in implementing new integration products & patterns in a similar organisation
