Job Description

We are currently looking for an organised, hard working individual who is interested in working as an SEN Teaching Assistant. Here at Teaching Personnel we offer great career opportunities within our friendly and supportive schools. You will be working 1:1 with children who require extra support through learning, whether this is mental, physical or emotional needs.The school caters for children 5-16 years of age with Social, Emotional and Mental Health. They work regularly with young people who have the following needs: OCD, PTSD, high social anxiety, high school-based anxiety and phobias, low self-esteem, clinical depression, self-harm, eating disorders.The school offers:

  • The ideal candidate would have a valid Team-Teach certificate, and ideally would have experience in a SEN setting.Here at Teaching Personnel we will be able to offer you a wide range of opportunities from long term work to short term, as well as helping you find work on a permanent basis. Our current teaching assistants work in a variety of roles in various schools around the area. We work closely with a range of schools as well as pupil referral units and alternative provisions.
