Job Description

Bar Saw Operative, BirminghamAre you looking for a new and exciting position within a growing organisatonIf so then we have the role for you!Our client based in Birmingham is currently looking for a Bar Saw Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic position offering opportunities of growth and development. Your duties will include:

  • To ensure all products are handled, cut and identified in accordance with our client’s Working Practices and Procedures.
  • The accurate setting, cutting and identification of materials maximising stock utilisation and minimising any scrap of damage to both customer products and stock.
  • The maintenance and accurate recording of all details on both the computer-based stock control system and all other supporting documentation.
  • Promote continuous improvement processes to maximise stock productivity and minimise waste in all operational processes.
    • You will have previous experience working with machinery, programing knowledge for machine set-up, preparation and cutting. It is an advantage for you to have a counterbalance license.Working hours - 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (rotating basis).£8.86ph plus 0.86p shift allowance and £138 attendance bonus availableThis is a fantastic opportunity to work within an expanding organisation.
