I have a great opportunity to join my client who created a brand new test function a year ago. . They are happy for people to work on fully remote basis as long as you dont mind visiting their office in Bristol for a day every couple of months when theyget the team together for some social activities!They are an awesome company who develop software used by retailers selling products online. They have the best environment, amazing glass door reviews, and are in a brilliant spot going from strength to strength.Their product is built on AWS and over the past year have been building a brand new test function. They now have 9 automation testers and are looking for several more! This new team is spread across several scrum teams but all their testers come togetherin a Test community of practice to learn, support and bounce ideas off eachother. They are continuing to improve test automation coverage across their product teams and Automation tests are part of their definition of done. Their team champions test automationacross the company as well as coaching the developers in it.They work in an Agile environment and Automation scripts will be integrated into their CI/CD pipeline. Youll be part of the team getting to identify and choose the best tools and tech for the job moving forwards. The team will be involved in building newframeworks from scratch and looking at ways of improving existing frameworks. They have been using Selenium, Cucumber and Java for UI end-to-end testing: and RestAssured, Java and Junit for API Testing as well as Gatling for Performance Testing.The ideal people will be testers with solid automation skills, with experience in any languages like Java, Python, C#, Ruby etc as long as you dont mind learning Java based tech moving forwards.Salaries are anywhere up to £55,000 with flexible hours, the option to be fully remote, bonus, good benefits and a great culture.If youd like to hear more please apply below to Sam Miller at SR2 - Socially Responsible RecruitmentSDET, Test Automation, Developer in Test
