Job Description

Role Introduction Advanced Health and care are looking to recruit a QA engineer, with a primary focus on the urgent care area of the business. The role is to join a well-established software development team to help deliver our market leading healthcare solution. What You Will Do

  • Work within the team to plan, maintain and execute software test cases
  • Collaborate with the automated testing team to create reusable automation tests
  • Provide a quality assurance approach to user story refinement sessions
  • Assist in stress, load, performance testing, helping our specialist teams prepare the relevant test cases
  • Understand the business and end user requirements to better create and execute testing plans
  • Provide objective and honest feedback to the development team
What You Will Have
  • Proven industry experience of testing of complex software solutions
  • A background of testing WinForms or desktop-based applications
  • Proven experience in testing a range of web-based API integrations including REST, SOAP and WCF
  • An enquiring mind, the ability to think outside of the normal parameters
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to work effectively with technical and non-technical staff in equal measure
