About the roleYoull be managing administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently. Being responsible for all event enquiries from start to finish, ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery with a focus on converting all incomingenquiries to contracted business, handling payments and liaising with the client to plan and finalise the details of their event to be issued as function sheets to the operational team. Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team ofevent coordinators.About youYou will have Previous sales experience in a large hotel/ conference venue and experience of systems such as Salesforce, DEPHI and Opera, with a passion for sales and strong desire to succeed. You are passionate about customer service and motivated to changeand grow. You ideally will have:-
  • Excellent people skillswork well in a team and to be able to manage the team
  • Maintain a professional image on duty, including a polite and courteous manner, cheerful disposition and punctuality
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbally and have a confident telephone manner. Youll need to be a good co-operator with a professional, warm, trusting and friendly approach, reacting to change in a positive way.
  • Ability to build and maintain long lasting relationships with existing and new clients
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast paced environment, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of managing and developing a team
