Assistant Geoenvironmental Consultant - BirminghamStarting Salary: £24,000 - £25,000New Entry Level Position Available!Have you recently graduated with a geology, environmental or engineering related degree and are looking for your first position within an environmental consultancyThis is an opportunity for an assistant geoenvironmental consultant to join a close-knit, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy local to Birmingham.The benefits of this assistant geoenvironmental consultant position include:

The main duties of this assistant geoenvironmental consultant position include:
  • Attending contaminated land and geotechnical site investigations
  • Soil and rock logging, ground gas and water monitoring and borehole logging
  • Supervising sub-contractors
  • Writing factual and interpretative reports
  • Phase 1 desk studies and phase 2 site investigations
  • Completing risk assessments
Requirements for this assistant geoenvironmental consultant position include:
  • Degree level education in geology, environmental science, earth science or geoscience (or relevant discipline)
  • Full UK drivers licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Located within the Birmingham region
  • Strong verbal and written communication
