Assistant Credit Control Manager - £35,000

Job Description

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a global organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team as an Assistant Credit Control Manager on a 12-month FTC.Summary Assisting the Senior Credit Control Manager with the day-to-day management of the credit control team.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily oversight of a team of credit control technicians
  • Organising regular catch-ups with the team and key stakeholders.
  • Daily credit control technical processing
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Monthly management, metrics, controls & trending reporting
  • Active management of aged debts, unallocated cash, and internal and external queries.
  • Continuous improvement of the credit control function
Skills and experience
  • Experience in a Team Leader or Assistant Credit Manager Position
  • Experience working in credit control
  • Experience of managing a team
  • General accounting knowledge
  • CICM qualified
  • Able to handle large amounts of data whilst maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Strong communicator
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Monday - Friday 35 hours, flexible between 8 am - 6 pm
