Job Description

Our client, located in Castle Bromwich, is actively seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This position offers study support if required. Full-time presence in the office is required.Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Management Accounts
  • Double entry bookkeeping
  • Debits/credits
  • Accruals
  • Prepayments
  • Journals
  • Balance sheets
  • Bank reconciliations
The successful Assistant Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Part qualified ACCA or studying Level 4 AAT
  • 2 years with industry experience but not limited to practice firms or other professional service firms but also commerce such as retail, hospitality and travel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
  • Excellent systems skills including excel
