Job Description

Spark44 is a global full-service marketing communications organization, and a joint venture with Jaguar Land Rover. We believe in Big Lean Thinking - which manifests itself in an approach of ruthless creative efficiency worldwide.The Role:We are currently recruiting for an Artworker working as part of a team, creating and preparing the global brochure output for JLR. The ideal candidate will have an unparalleled eye for detail and can work across a variety of media, with a constant drive to grow and learn. This role is very focussed on the technical side of artworking with very little creative opportunity. You will be responsible for delivering print ready artworks across a wide variety of formats, to the highest standard.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate, high quality, print-ready artwork to deadline, whilst maintaining full attention to detail.
  • Working with multiple languages including East Asian and Cyrillic
  • Placing approved imagery within artwork and ensuring correct positioning and crops across a suite of work
  • Fine tuning of typography, including extensive use of style sheets
  • Ensure style consistency is maintained within each file and also against a suite of work
  • Generate PDF outputs for client review/approval and Repro quality PDFs for print
  • Double check amends against briefs and provide feedback as part of the quality control process
  • Produce mock-ups and book proofs for printer/client reference
  • Building of e-brochures, creating hyperlinked, interactive PDF documents
  • Sign off and approve Studio artwork, taking responsibility for overall quality control and brand consistency
    • Requirements:
  • Full and detailed understanding of Adobe and Microsoft software
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Photoshop experience is desired but not essential
  • Previous experience of working on Reports/accounts/catalogues/brochures’s
  • Ability to assist and support colleagues within the team to deliver the scope of work
  • Exceptional eye for detail and able to work to a variety of processes for different projects
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload
  • Must be highly organised with a structured and methodical approach to artwork
