Area Sales Manager - Fall protection Systems Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Fall Protection SystemsIndustry Sector: Fall Protection Systems, Fall Arrest Systems, Safety Decking, Scaffolding, Scaffolders, Timberframe Companies, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Housebuilders, Regional Housebuilders, Hire & Sales, Hire, Edge Protection, Heavyside Plant Equipment, Plant Hire, Construction Site EquipmentArea to be covered: West Midlands & WalesRemuneration: £27,000 - £37,000 (depending on experience) + £15,000 - £30,000 commission paid quarterlyBenefits: BMW 330e company car OR car allowanceThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Fall Protection Systems will involve:

  • Field sales position selling the hire & sale of fall protection systems such as: guard rail systems, safety access systems, decking systems and fall arrest systems
  • All of your time will be spend selling into scaffolding companies, timberframe companies, small contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, and regional / national housbuilders such as: Barratt Homes, Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon
  • Working closely with internal sales support
  • Will require regular on-site visits
  • Average order values range from £2,000 to £250,000 depending on size and scope
  • Will be targeting on KPI’s for both the hire and sale of product (tbc)
    • The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Fall Protection Systems with:
  • Must have a construction external sales experience selling the hire and sales of related products such as guard rail systems, safety access systems, decking systems and fall arrest systems, scaffolding, safety systems
  • Must have experience selling to scaffolding companies, timberframe companies, small contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, and regional / national housbuilders such as: Barratt Homes, Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon
  • Ideally have experience/ knowledge of scaffolding
  • Capable of managing and expanding existing relationships and generating new business
  • Organised, have good time management skills and to be self-motivated to perform and reach targets
  • Well-spoken and personable
