I am working with a highly reputable training provider based in Birmingham that are looking to employ an Apprenticeship Assessor on a temporary/fixed term basis of 3 to 4 months to support on their Children Young People and Families Practitioner Level4Communities Pathway apprenticeship.They are looking for someone that has experience of delivering this standard at Level 4if you have Level 5 experience that would also be an advantage.You will be visiting learners at their place of work to complete observations so will need to hold a full drivers licence and have access to your own transport. Learners are based at a variety of locations around Birmingham, the West Midlands and the Warwickshireareas.The package available for the position of Apprenticeship Assessor is £34000 pro ratathere may be some flexibility for the right candidate.The role of the Apprenticeship Assessor: Work with learners completing the Level 4 Children Young People and Families Practitioner qualification. Work with a cohort of around 30 learners to support them through to completion of their apprenticeship. Complete observations on learners in the workplace to support the building of a robust portfolio of work. Complete professional discussions and support with gathering evidence and preparing learners for their End Point Assessments. Work closely with other team members to support the smooth completion for learners on their apprenticeships. Upload evidence and visit details on the SmartAssessorexperience with this system would be an advantage. Support out of funding learners to support the completion of their qualification in a timely manner. Work with the quality and compliance standards as outlined by the ESFA and awarding bodies.Skills, knowledge and experience required to the position of Apprenticeship Assessor: Experience of delivering Children Young People and Families Practitioner Level 4. Hold a relevant teaching qualificationPTLLS, Cert Ed, etc. Hold a relevant assessor awardTAQA, CAVA, A1, etc. Experience with SmartAssessor would be an advantage. Hold a current DBS and be on the online update system. You will need to be able to provide satisfactory references.
