Job Description

My client is a leading global Financial Services Provider looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to provide global 3rd and 4th line application technical support for their SaaS products and services.You will have strong competency in Azure platform technologies as well highly competent in PowerShell or any windows scripting experience. Experience of HyperV or VMWare as well as Microsoft System Center - primarily SCOM and/or SCCMYou will also be experienced in providing high class customer satisfaction (both External and Internal customers).REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated team, organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to assimilate and gain mastery of new technologies
  • Experience providing service and support as a member of an operations team
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMWare
  • Strong experience with Windows Server technologies
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, etc.)
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
  • Experience with Microsoft Systems Center, primarily Operations Manager
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or related technologies
  • Experience working as part of a globally distributed team
  • Desire to seek out and utilize new technologies to improve performance and customer satisfaction
