Job Description

Aluminium Welder (Manufacturing)BirminghamTemp to Perm or Permanent£14.00 per hour + OvertimeMornings/Afternoons/NightsWe are recruiting for skilled Aluminium Welders based in Tyseley Birmingham, these highly skilled welders will carry out a variety of Mig/Tig aluminium and spot welding.Must have a sound knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fully understand engineering weld symbols.Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Understanding the principles and practical application of Mig/Tig/Aluminium and spot welding
  • Understanding the principles of welding for strength
  • Demonstrate competence with spot welding technique
  • Able to weld to a high standard, achieve the correct weld integrity
  • Capable of assembling metal components, engineering understanding required
  • Experience of plasma Cutting, grinding and linishing
  • Prior experience welding in a manufacturing environment
