Job Description

Position: Air Conditioning EngineerSalary: £35,000 - £38,000Location: Birmingham, MidlandsCompany Van, Phone and uniformWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our clients team. The successful candidate must possess the ability to troubleshoot large commercial air conditioning systems and air handling units, with expertise in various typesof refrigeration compressors. A strong background in general electrical maintenance is essential, along with the capability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a high-quality service to nominated clients, adhering to specified standards and contractual arrangements.
  • Working in compliance with recognised industry standards.
  • Successfully managing the internal facilities management system for assigned sites/locations.
  • Conducting quality inspections and ensuring immediate response to reactive maintenance needs.
  • Addressing on-site faults or coordinating the installation of replacement machinery or equipment.
  • Collaborating with the Lead Engineer and Support Desk Supervisor to establish maintenance programs and reporting procedures.
  • Maintaining personal and professional development through training activities and staying current with knowledge and qualifications.
What we need from you:
  • Proven track record with AHUs, FCUs, VRVs, and VRFs.
  • F-Gas Qualification.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Technical Certification in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance, or Mechanical Maintenance.
  • City & Guilds 2382-15 IEEE 17th Edition Course.
  • Competent electrical fault-finding and analysis skills.
  • Self-managing, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Methodical record-keeping.
  • Hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
