Job Description

AHP Clinical Team Manager - Mental HealthAre you a highly experienced AHP (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech & language Therapist) who enjoys managing caseloads, as well as leading and supporting a multi-disciplinary AHP team to deliver recovery-focused and holistic support for thosein needWe are working with a large Mental Health provider based in the West Midlands who are keen to recruit an individual who has the skills to role model and uplift the established MDT AHP workforce.The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the AHP team, its facilities, and resources as well as their own clinical caseload within their profession.Working alongside Lead AHP colleagues within neighbouring localities and professional support provided from the Head of AHP to ensure a collaborative AHP approach within the wider group.Salary: £51,000 - £56,000 depending on experienceWhat experience do you need* Proven background in serving as a highly specialised AHP, including roles in both line management and leadership capacities.* Demonstrated ability to take the lead on quality assurance activities such as service development projects, continuous quality improvement, and audits.* Evidence of autonomously handling tasks related to HR, investigations, and safeguarding.* Substantiated experience in driving service initiatives, engaging in research, and spearheading leadership projects.* Led and motivated others in their professional development.* Participation in central working groups and external networking groups.* Hands-on experience in mental health and inpatient services Key Skills & Behaviours* Focused on patient experience and outcomes* Quality-led treatment in line with AHP strategy* Dynamic approach* Lead and advocate for a diverse team within the senior multi-disciplinary structureAdditional Benefits include:* 38 days annual leave, increasing further with service (inc. bank holidays)* Bespoke retail discount and cashback schemes* Blue Light Card and Health Service Discounts* Cycle to work scheme* Sickness policy on par with the NHS* Healthcare cash plan* Free parking* Excellent professional and career development and training opportunities* Pension & life assuranceSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
