Job Description

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established, organisation based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team as an Insurance and Risk Management Administrator. Summary Acting as first point of contact in relation to Insurance matters and providing administrative support to the Legal DepartmentDuties & Responsibilities

  • Undertaking preliminary investigations into all relevant incidents that are potential claims
  • Collating relevant documentation to dispatch to insurers
  • Management of personal injury and public and product liability claims that fall below the excess
  • Managing property/impact damage claims from the beginning of the recovery process through to the enforcement
  • Ensuring relevant documentation is sent to the accident management company and insurers within an agreed timescale
  • Ensuring all incoming post is opened and distributed in a time-efficient manner
  • Ensuring certificates and notices are issued to the wider business within the necessary timescales
Skills and experience
  • Previous experience within a similar role is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels within a business environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willing to take ownership and responsibility for problems and problem-solving
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with a focus on timely delivery of results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
  • Self-motivated
