Job Description

Acoustic Consultant (Assistant/Intermediate)Location: BirminghamSalary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOEPenguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a specialist acoustic consultancy who provide expert advise to a wide range of public & private sector clients! My client operates our of several locations, with the head offices being in Birmingham and London.Their Acoustics team is a close-knit group of engineers who cover all aspects of acoustics, noise & vibration and they offer excellent career progression, a culture that embraces work/life balance and an excellent remuneration package!Joining as the newest member of the team, you will join the next stage of the companys growth & will become an established part of a forward-thinking team.Requirements:

  • Candidates should some experience or knowledge of BS4142, BB93 or BS8233 assessments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Qualified to degree level in Acoustics, or another relevant discipline.
You will assist the team in delivering technical project work from start to completion for small to medium sized project. Your role will involve liaising with clients, engineers, internal teams and other stakeholders throughout the process.Duties will include:
  • Acoustic modelling.
  • Noise monitoring.
  • Report writing.
  • Site visits.
  • CPD.
