Job Description

Finance Assistant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity working for a fabulous client based in Birmingham city centre. You will be working as part of a small friendly accounting team and be responsible for the day to day running of the financefunction; your duties will include purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, petty cash, expenses, journals, cashbooks and assisting with month end. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant looking who would ideally like to work in management accounts longer term. Ideally you will be working towards the AAT qualified and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Youmust also have excellent interpersonal skills and any man management experience would be a distinct advantage. My client is a based in Birmingham city centre with a modern, open plan working environment, a fabulous working culture, 23 days holiday which increases with service and some other excellent benefits. This is a full time office based role.
