Job Description

Accounts Administrator– Permanent Contract to start ASAP!Location: Hockley, BirminghamHours of Work: 8.00am – 5.00pm – Mon – FriSalary: £22,135pa - £25,000pa (£10.64ph - £11.65ph) (DOE)A fantastic opportunity to join an established company for over 26 years, specialising in bespoke automation, security and access solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office essential
  • Training will be given on Pegasus accounting software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level of attention to detail, driven by procedures
Duties:
  • Purchase ledger processing invoices and reconcile purchase ledger
  • Sales Ledger raising sales invoices
  • Post staff expenses, and credit card receipt and reconcile
  • Updating spreadsheets for vehicle fleet and training matrix
  • Answer incoming calls (take messages / transfer / deal with as necessary)
  • If required due to staff holidays
  • Schedule work with clients and produce all necessary documentation for clients and operatives
  • Process new clients onto the Opera system, assisting sales with admin to update system
  • Update work planner as required, liaise with project managers
  • Take payments by credit card, processed on world pay
  • Deal with day-to-day office requirements, courier, post etc
  • Deal with enquiries from clients either over the phone or via e-mail
  • Deal with enquiries from operatives to ensure smooth running of jobs
  • Chase suppliers and track supply of goods for work to be carried out on time.
