Job Description

Launched in 2015, we have grown rapidly through acquisitions and by employing outstanding individuals with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the insurance market.The Role: Account Manager - North RegionThe Account Manager will actively participate in working with the Strategic Account Managers to grow existing members and identify new prospect opportunities.You will need to be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own or within the team to deliver a high-class service to our members.Understand the role of the Strategic Account Manager to the point where you may take over when the opportunity arises.Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to Strategic Account Managers by attending broker meetings and supporting them on any queries or issues.
  • Understand and build strong relationships Network Members in your area
  • Nurture relationships with Panel insurers, whilst getting to know their products and services
  • Reaching out to new business prospects and taking ownership of developing new business opportunities
  • Attending network events, conferences, and roadshows
  • Working closely with existing strategic account managers with input on book of business and identifying new business opportunity
  • Responsibility for the maintenance and development of the membership database/CRM -keeping it up to date, making sure it has the right data fields and reporting/sharing information with internal stakeholders
  • Managing, maintaining, and enhancing the prospect database and supplying data lists to marketing
  • Telephone and email follow up of prospect and member mail activity
  • Updating and personalization of all sales support collateral and presentations to support key account managers
Experience:
  • Insurance Industry experience is desirable, particularly in a sales or development role
  • Experience in an FCA regulated industry
  • Knowledge of commercial business including commercial combined and property classes
  • Experience of working in a fast passed highly effective sales & service team
  • Tangible achievements with experience in reaching business objectives
