Role: IT Support Engineer Type: TemporaryDuration: Three Months InitiallyStart date: ASAPPay rate: £12.55/hr PAYE incl. holiday; weekly payLocation: BirminghamKey duties: - Employ Active Directory and Group Policy to manage/configure user accounts- Triage and resolve complex IT situations and issues, escalating when necessary- Relay technical and functionality guidance to IT Users- Resolve IT User issues over telephone, email, or via remote access- Working knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems- TCP/IP experienceRequired skills:- Ability to communicate with staff and customers of all levels, relaying IT advice to non-technical persons- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OS and MS Office applications- Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server queries- To work as part of a close-knit and highly skilled team of EngineersVenn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
