Job Description

Payroll Administrator £21,890 - £25,424 pro-rata FTC (Up to 16/10/2023) 20 hours per weekHybrid -Birmingham, B37 7YNPart Time, Fixed Term Working as part of a small but busy payroll function, you will be liaising with the Payroll Manager and employees on a day-to-day basis.You will be required to manage your workload whilst answering queries from team members and employees.In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Payroll Administrator will involve:

  • Assisting with the administration for their pension scheme members
  • Administration of new starters and leavers and any changes to contributions in the pension and payroll system
  • Provide support for auto enrolment in line with auto enrolment legislation
  • Assisting with processing and checking of payroll
  • Process voluntary deductions, pension contributions and court orders
  • Dealing with payroll and pension queries from employees
  • Carrying out checks in line with National minimum/Living wage
As Payroll Administrator they need you to have:
  • Experience of administering defined benefits schemes to include processing monthly subscriptions
  • Understanding of Auto enrolment
  • Experience of processing payroll for large organisations using a HR and payroll integrated system
