Colass Finance team, largely based at head office in Birmingham Business Park Solihull, arerecruiting a Credit Controller, on a permanent basis, reporting into the Accounts Receivables Manager. The requirement is due to new finance systems being implementedand our in-house resource being focused on data migration, transactional tasks and daily upskilling on the new systems, meaning less time to chase outstanding debts owed to Colas. Youll be chasing outstanding monies owed to Colas - were looking for a proactive, organised and customer focusedindividual. Youll work collaboratively with the rest of the finance function to ensure smooth daily operations, minimum outstanding bad debt and maximum cash collection. The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for this role will have a construction industry background and be knowledgeable in Applications For Payments and Payment Retentions - preferably youll have JD Edwards systems experience. Youll be comfortable chasing high volumesand high values on cash on a daily basis and be results driven. However, were open to considering entry level candidates looking to take their first step into Finance post education and were happy to train/develop the successful candidate.
