Colas are looking to recruit a CAD Technician to undertake a range of activities in asset management, administration and IT for all traffic management depots.This is a 3 months fixed term contract and is based in the Birmingham area. Package DescriptionAs well as a highly competitive salary, Colas offers some great benefits with this role, including: A generous pension contribution Life assurance cover (x4 basic salary) 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (with the option to buy/sell more) Flexible working policy Opportunity to study towards a professional qualification fully funded Ongoing training and personal/professional development Main Responsibilities Provide all TM Auto-Cad layouts for current clients requesting traffic management Provide TM Auto-Cad layouts for back up of risk assessments and method statements Compile library and applications for TTROs Provide technical assistance in all elements of TM design Develop in-house service for future clients Provide in-house assistance with technical knowledge and design for all aspects of Colas schemes Assist A-One+ in traffic management design Any other duties which may be required to meet business needs. The Ideal CandidateThe candidate must be fully experienced with Auto-Cad / Bricschad + Cone 10 Software and have a proven history of temporary traffic management design. You are likely to have a good knowledge of temporary traffic management and of Chapter 8 2009, Safety atStreet Works and TSRGD 2002 requirements.
