Colas are currently looking for anAccounts Payable Assistant, to join our growing finance team based in Solihull. You will also assist with month end accounting routines and reconciliation of all supplier accounts. On a day to day basisyou will be verifying subcontractors with HMRC, maintaining and reconciling subcontracts on the accounts system and dealing with invoice queries in a timely and efficient manner, along with other appropriate duties assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager,Financial Controller and Treasury Manager. Colas are committed to safety and lowering environmental impact, this will mean all tasks you complete will be done with these two things in mind. The Ideal CandidateTo succeed in this role you will need to be a flexible, enthusiastic team player with a good over view of how the AP process works with excellent communications skills, and an eye for detail that allows for you to see how to improve processes and make thedepartment run more smoothly.
