This role is perfect for an individual with a strong technical accounting background, who thrives on identifying cost efficiencies andpreparing compelling business cases. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive accounting service for all group companies, including full balance sheet reconciliations. You will also lead in the preparation and production of parent and group financialinformation, maintain the fixed asset register, and support the Finance Department with accurate and timely reporting relating to fixed assets.* Lead in the preparation and production of parent and Group financial information* Provide a full accounting service for all Group companies including full balance sheet reconciliations* Focus on identifying cost efficiencies with a view to maximising Operating MarginWhat youll do:You will play a pivotal role in leading the preparation of management and financial accounts for all group companies. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all financial controls are reviewed and adhered to, highlighting any areas of concern. Your focuswill be on identifying cost efficiencies with a view to maximising Operating Margin. You will also be responsible for ESG reporting in relation to both the management and year-end accounts. Your ability to meet month-end timetables and deadlines while providingsupport to the wider finance department will be crucial. Additionally, you will lead on the full reconciliation of the Groups balance sheets, including reconciliation of all inter-company balances.* Lead in the timely preparation of the management and financial accounts of all Group companies* Assist in ensuring all financial controls are reviewed and adhered to* Responsible for ESG reporting in relation to both the management and year-end accounts* Ensure the month end timetable and deadlines are met whilst providing support to the wider finance department* Lead on the full and timely reconciliation of the Groups balance sheets including reconciliation of all inter-company balances* Support the transactional team with regard to general ledger items (e.g. accruals/prepayments) and queriesWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Senior Financial Accountant role will bring a wealth of experience and will have strong experience using financial ledger systems, with Open Accounts being desirable. A Qualified Accountant or an experienced part-qualified individualwho is actively working towards their qualification. With a positive approach to work the Senior Financial Accountant will be positive, proactive and flexible, with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
