Job Description

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Part Time SEMH Teacher to work in an Alternative Provision based in Wirral. This is a Primary Alternative Provision that has been grown through passion. Since Covid, they have been working together with local partnersas they recognised the need to support young people and Primary Schools in the area.The role for a SEMH Teacher is a long term role till the end of the academic year for a part time SEMH Teacher to work Tuesdays and Thursdays ongoing. The role is to start immediately and will be working with Key Stage 2 & 3 English, Maths and Science. TheProvision is a short stay provision for children who need extra help socially and academically to rehabilitate them back into mainstream schools.The ideal candidate would have experience or a passion to work with SEMH children.Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • A compassionate and patient approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
